Zach has worked a variety of positions, having worked in the construction industry for several years before transisitioning into tech. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Platteville but somewhere along the way he found a previously undiscovered passion for code and software. Since then, Zach has worked as a professional developer writing code primarily for manufacturing environments.
Outside of work, Zach is a prolific percussionist and avid participant in the marching arts, having spent several seasons as a participant of Drum Corps International. Since then, he's worked with several Wisconsin area high school marching band programs where he inspires excellence in youth. If he's not hacking on a pad or drumset, Zach can be seen at his local boxing gym, reading a good book, or biking through local trails.
